The Wonders of creation:Bats Empty
مُساهمةموضوع: The Wonders of creation:Bats   The Wonders of creation:Bats Emptyالخميس 08 أبريل 2010, 12:31 am

Radar is one of the products of human genius that has been invented already. Radar is a system that uses electromagnetic waves to identify the range, altitude
, direction, or speed of both moving and fixed objects such as aircraft, ships, motor vehicles, weather formations, and terrain. A transmitter emits radio waves, which are reflected by the target and detected by a receiver, typically in the same location as the transmitter. Although the radio signal returned is usually very weak, radio signals can easily be amplified. This enables radar to detect objects at ranges where other emissions, such as sound or visible light, would be too weak to detect. Radio waves are a divine law which is put in the universe to be discovered by the human mind, which is divine blessing to man to apply and benefit by.
God says what means if ye would count the bounty of Allah ye cannot reckon it ( Abraham :34)
God's Might and Creativity are manifested in a small creature
Bats are very small animals that use the same system of Radar but even more advanced than that of the man-made Radar . In its very small head this animal carries his Radar ; To understand how wonderful this Radar is think about the AWACS , a plane the carries the most advanced radar , that carries a crew up of twenty persons in addition to the earth crew.
How can a bat fly in the darkness?
God has endowed it with what could be scientifically known as echolocation
What is echolocation:
Echolocation is a sensory system in certain animals, such as bats and dolphins, in which usually high-pitched sounds are emitted and their echoes interpreted to determine the direction and distance of objects.
Bats send out sound waves using their mouth or nose. When the sound hits an object an echo comes back. The bat can identify an object by the sound of the echo. They can even tell the size, shape and texture of a tiny insect from its echo. Most bats use echolocation to navigate in the dark and find food.
A bat does this as if it has a huge administration that contains the most sophisticated technology that humanity brags about and considers it at the top of its high technology .
Bats fly at high speed in darkness to its prey without committing the least mistake in determining its place, or colliding with a wall and even go through a hole in a wall or a fence that would kill it.
Although bats may occasionally fly very close to someone's face while catching insects, they do not get stuck in people's hair. That's because the bat's ability to echolocate is so acute that it can avoid obstacles no wider than a piece of thread.
Bats obtain blood by making a small cut in the skin of a sleeping animal with their razor-sharp teeth and then lapping up the blood as it flows from the wound. The bat's saliva contains an anesthetic that reduces the likelihood of the animal feeling the prick. Each bat requires only about two tablespoons of blood every day
To envisage this ability of the bat , let's watch a chasing between a bat and a butterfly while chasing it in the complete darkness and how it discovers all the tricks , stratagem and the maneuvers that it does . A sight that we looks much like that we see in a wrestling ring or military chasing between highly advanced plane fighters , every opponent tries to evade the other by maneuver .
The pursuit usually starts with a slow speed on the part of the bat, when the bat is relatively close to the butterfly, it begins to maneuver using its tactics and its high speed which results from its slight weight. The bat, this time, will increase its speed at the same speed of the butterfly till the distance between them becomes smaller (6 meters) .
Knowing that no trick or maneuver will avail with this clever subtle animal, The butterfly begins to maneuvers and make another trick.
The butterfly , in search for escape of this clever hunter , begins to claim weakness and surrender so it begin to bring its wing together and throws itself downwards as if it is dead . The bat will not be deceived this time also as it will take the opportunity and begins to swoop down over it like a jet fighter but quickly the butterfly will discover that nothing could deceive that hunter so it begins to start to fly again .
As a bat gets closer to a moth, both the loudness and frequency of sound increase. Surprisingly, the sensitivity of the moth's ear to the bat's calls also increases, as the moth ear dynamically becomes more sensitive to the frequencies that many bats use during the attack. Furthermore, the ear remains tuned up in this way for several minutes after the sound stops, ready in case there is another attack. As the moth cleverly tunes its ear to enhance its detection of bats, how do the bats in turn modify their calls to avoid their detection by moths and to eat, in the end?

The bat will resort to another method , it will fly in a zigzag line that seems to you , if you are there, that it is slow and aimless motion .No it is not , it is a new method that is mathematically and geometrically calculated . This to distract its opponent's attention and confuse it till it could not determine when and where the bat will meet or pounce.
Like two fighters planes, equipped with the most advanced radars , the bat and the butterfly try to evade and obfuscate each other , taking into consideration time calculations and place coordinates till the butterfly falls prey after sixteen attempts and if not the bat will use another method ; it will direct strong heavy blows by its wings to the butterfly till the butterfly falls prey , just like a plane when fails to destroys the other , it begins to use its machine gun .

Scientists made a very interesting experiment to examine the bat high natural echolocation , they divided a big university class with a net like that used in volleyball game , they made a hole in the same size of a hand palm of the hand then they switched off the lights and freed a bat that was locked in a box, the bat fly briskly and quickly towards the net , to the surprise of all the scientists , it went through the hole in the net, not hitting with net as if he knew what they had prepared .

It is God's Creativity that stands behind every miraculous thing in this universe, it is God's providence that stand behind this life, nothing here or there but enjoys God's blessings.
Scientists still at loss
Though scientists understood so many things about that natural Radar that excels the man-made Radar , they are still confused about many other things such as how the bat determines its goals and knows its prey though many other insects may exist in the same surrounding through the same Radar , some bats sustain themselves on Fish , the way the bat determine the place of a fish in deep sea in a very dark night is another miracle , man made radar fixed on highly advanced plane can not detect submarine in deep sea as most of the radar waves that the radar emit are reflected at the surface of the sea and only 1% penetrate the sea Moreover, things in deep water do not emit any waves .
The bats subsonic noises vary in length and pulse frequency, and are unique to the individual. Each bat recognizes its own pulse reflections, or "voice," and uses it to avoid objects and to identify food. No interferences between a bat's sound with another.
Each one knows his and according to his echolocation goes wherever he wants .
Bats often form nursery roots, with many females giving birth in the same area, be it a cave, a tree hole, or a cavity in a building. Mother bats are able to find their young in huge colonies of millions of other pups. Pups have even been seen to feed on other mothers' milk if their mother is dry.
Bats from Central and South American that live on the nectar from flowers can see ultraviolet light (Nature, 9. October 2003 p. 612-614).
Some bats have hearing sensitive enough to hear the footsteps of grasshoppers, lizards, or centipedes.
. The bat's saliva contains an anesthetic that reduces the likelihood of the animal feeling the prick.
Bats have enzymes that prevent the blood of animal to clot The anticoagulant in the vampire bat’s saliva may be used to help people with blood clots.
The research showed that bats use a totally different lift-generating mechanism than birds and insects do, and their wings are much more maneuverable, being a candidate model for tiny flying machines. "They can generate different wing shapes and motions that other creatures can’t", said Kenneth Breuer, a professor of engineering at Brown University.
While birds and insects can fold and rotate their wings during flight, the possibilities bats have are much higher. The wing's patagium (membrane) is extended for the down stroke in straightforward flight, but as its surface is much more flexible, it curves much more than a bird’s one, generating greater lift for less energy. In the up stroke, the bats are able to approach more the wings to their bodies than birds or insects, experiencing less drag.

The high flexibility of the bat wing enables them to make 180-degree turns in less than half a wingspan length.

God has endowed the bat with a certain ability to fly in the darkness thought can't see well either in daylight or darkness. A certain ability of emitting so high sound that the human ear can not receive and if it receives it would be destroyed. This sound is like radar ray that the bat emits in the surroundings and when it hits something it goes back to the blind animal which it analyses , a process through which it knows about the objects , its size and even its nature and if it useful for him or not , all these are done in a time that is no more than a part of a second , something like a site that contains thousands of electronic computers that work in complete harmony and these are run by clever engineers who give results so quickly .
God's might is something that can not only be described by words ; it is according to the level of belief that we have that we can appreciate His might , it is according to your goals in life that you understand His Might and Creativity , God made this universe and what lie in as a visible book through its lines and even words you will understand His Might and Creativity ; there are two kinds of scientists in this regard ; a kind that passes what they discovered on heart and mind before tongue and that are the believers teem ,the other team is that who never passes what they find on heart and mind ; those are the haughty who have seen the truth but yet doesn't see God behind .
The Holy Quran describes the two teams in many verses ;
God says in the Holy Quran what means "Truly it is not their eyes that are blind, but their hearts which are In their breasts. "( AL-Hajj:46)
So God will "lead them astray despite their knowledge "
As to the other team who pass their knowledge on their heart , the Holy Quran says "Those truly fear God, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for God is Exalted in Might Oft Forgiving " Fater :28"
This is the difference between the believers and the atheists. Evolutionists and Darwinists have much knowledge about Geology and biology, yet they still try to ascribe every thing to nature ….Where is that nature, why doesn't it address us as long as it is the Creator.
